Silynx Technology

Silynx Passive Sound Protection Technology

Silynx in-ear sound protection technology combines both passive and active protection mechanisms. State-of-the-art, high-performance acoustic foam ear tips provide the industry’s highest passive sound attenuation.
These foam tips offer exceptional comfort, maintain their protective properties over time, are easily replaceable for hygiene purposes, and provide a long service life.

Active Noise Reduction

Silynx Active Sound Protection Technology

Silynx’s proprietary high-speed active sound protection technology, with a response time of 1 millisecond, safeguards users from both continuous noise (such as engines, vehicles, and machinery) and impulse noise (including gunfire and explosions). By dynamically compressing hazardous high-energy sound into safe levels, the system helps prevent both short- and long-term hearing damage.
In extreme noise environments—such as exposure to exceptionally high-energy personal weapons — additional protection can be achieved by combining Silynx in-ear headsets with passive over-the-ear earmuffs. This dual-protection configuration preserves user comfort, clear communication, and full situational awareness.

Silynx Hear-Thru Enhanced Hearing Technology

Conventional earplugs protect hearing by blocking sound entirely, which can isolate users from critical environmental data such as verbal commands and approaching threats.
This loss of situational awareness can be as dangerous as exposure to excessive noise.
Silynx Hear-Thru technology addresses this limitation by reconstructing and enhancing environmental sound, allowing the user to manage ambient audio levels rather than eliminating it.
External sounds are captured by the headset’s environmental microphones, processed in real time, and delivered to the ear at safe, controlled levels, while harmful noise is automatically attenuated.
The result is a high level of situational awareness—often described as “superhuman” hearing—combined with effective sound protection.

Drone Detection

A unique drone-detection implementation of Silynx Hear-Thru technology enhances characteristic drone acoustic signatures to enable faster detection at greater distances. When Hear-Thru sensitivity is increased uniformly, all environmental sounds are amplified, which can create excessive auditory burden and reduce usability. The drone-detection feature avoids this limitation by selectively enhancing drone-related sound frequencies rather than amplifying all background noise. This targeted approach allows higher effective sensitivity for drone detection while maintaining a manageable and comfortable overall sound environment.

Talking From The Ear

Silynx’s proprietary Talking From The Ear technology overcomes a key limitation of traditional in-ear bone-conduction headsets—long-term comfort. It uses an in-ear bone-conducted air microphone to detect subtle internal air movements from bone vibrations. A high-speed AI processing algorithm separates the user’s voice from environmental noise, delivering clear, intelligible speech, while the earbud’s high-grade acoustic passive tips isolate hearing from surrounding sounds. Unlike conventional bone-conduction technologies, it applies no pressure to the bone, allowing extended, comfortable continuous wear.

Leak Test

Silynx’s proprietary Leak Test technology allows users to automatically or manually check the headset earbud seal at any time. The test alerts the user to ensure optimal fit of the passive sound tips. If a leak is detected, the system provides a real-language prompt indicating the location of the leak for easy correction.

Pre-Recorded Messages

Silynx’s proprietary Pre-Recorded Messages technology enables the transmission of clear, silent voice messages without vocalization, activated by a single button press. Messages are pre-recorded and managed using Silynx TacTuner software. This unique capability supports covert and low-signature operations where acoustic discipline is critical and adversary detection risk is high.

Net Monitoring

Silynx Net Monitoring enables net-to-ear allocation in dual-network configurations, allowing clear separation of communication channels and improved awareness and understanding of incoming transmissions. Net-to-ear assignment and configuration are controlled through Silynx’s proprietary TacTuner software, enabling flexible setup to match operational requirements and user preferences.

Whisper Mode

Unlike Silynx’s Talking From The Ear mode, which isolates and separates the user’s voice from surrounding noise, Whisper Mode optimizes headset parameters for quiet environments by utilizing the external earbud microphone as the speech microphone. Whisper Mode enhances transmission of environmental sounds while protecting hearing from noise-related injuries and does not cancel or filter surrounding noise, allowing the receiving side to hear the environment clearly. Switching between Talking From The Ear and Whisper Mode is supported to match specific mission requirements.

Smart Phone Connect

Silynx Smart Phone Connect technology enables seamless integration of wired or wireless smartphones, operating independently or in parallel with radios and other communication devices. In addition to standard full-duplex mobile phone operation—using a single button to initiate and end calls—the technology supports mobile applications that convert phone communication into Push-to-Talk (PTT) operation. This enables controlled, mission-oriented use of smartphone communications.

Smart Phone Connect also supports in-app communication recording and allows the smartphone to operate in parallel with other connected devices, while maintaining audio control and preventing unintended audio crossover. This ensures that mobile phone users do not hear or transmit other ongoing communications when operating multiple devices simultaneously.

TacTuner Software

Silynx TacTuner software is designed to enable client-driven self-adaptation and configuration of hardware and audio performance to meet specific operational requirements.
TacTuner supports two user levels: the Army Signal Corps Command level and the operational unit signal officer level. This structure enables Silynx products to be optimized according to mission type, operational demands, and individual user preferences.

LinkDetect technology

LinkDetect Technology

Silynx LinkDetect Technology automatically identifies the connected radio, smartphone, or communication device and instantly configures audio levels and system settings — no switches, pairing, or manual setup required. The system adapts in real time to each device’s signal characteristics, ensuring seamless plug-and-play performance across any platform.

When powered on, the system announces the detected device and confirms whether it is connected to the primary or secondary communication port, giving the operator instant feedback and full operational awareness.

Whether connecting to a tactical radio, intercom, or mobile device, LinkDetect delivers clear, balanced, and mission-ready communication – all through a single intelligent cable.
