Silynx is a 3M Peltor converter partner authorized to convert Peltor ComTac, Over-The-Ear (OTE) sound protection headsets to integrate with Silynx technology.
The PORTEGO PLT line includes ComTac XPI, ComTac V, and ComTac VIII converted headset models that are compatible with Silynx PTT/Control systems via the Silynx Quick Disconnect Connector (QDC).

The implementation of the Silynx QDC provides the headset with power that is drawn from the radio device battery without relying on internal batteries.
This enables longer operating time and obviates the need for battery replacement and monitoring.

The PORTEGO PLT, combined with Silynx PTT/Control systems, also allows the user to allocate ear-to-network assignments (when more than one network is used).
PORTEGO PLT models are available in headband, neckband, or helmet-attached configuration as required.
