Silynx had jointly developed with Sordin a tactical Over- The- Ears (OTE) sound protection headset.
The PORTEGO SDR, is compatible with Silynx PTT/Control systems via Silynx modular systems/Quick Disconnect Connector (QDC). The QDC provides the headset with power withdrawn from the radio device battery without relying on internal batteries.
This enables longer operation time and obviates the need for batteries replacement and monitoring.
The Silynx PTT/Control systems also allows ear to network allocation of the PORTEGO SDR by the user.
PORTEGO SDR is available in head band, neck band or helmet attached configuration as required.
