One Control Box, Every Radio
The Silynx ecosystem is modular by design. The headset, the control box, and the radio cable are three separate components - connected by Quick Disconnect (QDC) on the headset side and a radio-specific connector on the radio side. When you change radios, you change the cable, not the headset or controller. This is the single biggest cost-and-logistics advantage Silynx delivers over fixed-cable competitor systems.
Frequently Asked Questions
Still looking for an answer?
What's the difference between CLARUS I, CLARUS II, FORTIS, and C4OPS?
CLARUS I controls 1-2 radios with dual PTT. CLARUS II controls up to 3 radios with advanced audio routing. FORTIS controls up to 4 networks with quad PTT - built for commanders. C4OPS is a legacy controller still in active service. Choose based on how many radio networks you need to manage simultaneously.
Are the controllers waterproof?
Yes. All Silynx controllers are rated IP68 - dust-tight and waterproof to at least 1 meter. All are tested to MIL-STD-810G for shock, vibration, temperature, and humidity.
Can I control the volume and Hear-Thru with gloves?
Yes. All Silynx controllers feature oversized, tactile buttons designed for gloved operation. Voice prompts confirm settings changes so you never need to look at the device.
Can I route different radios to different ears?
Yes. When connected to two devices, the CLARUS and FORTIS can route each radio to a separate ear - for example, command net in the left ear and tactical net in the right ear.
