MWPTT
The Silynx Micro Wireless Push-to-Talk (MWPTT) enables users to remotely and wirelessly activate their communication devices.
The MWPTT can be paired with any Silynx control box in seconds. It can connect to up to two devices, including radios, smartphones, and various ICS platforms.
Designed for rough use in the harshest conditions, the MWPTT is rugged and waterproof, with a diving depth of up to 10 meters. The replaceable internal battery provides 2 years of operation.
The MWPTT XP Picatinny rail allows for quick and safe attachment to weapons, ballistic or riot shields, and other tactical combat gear. With the Silynx MWPTT, users can operate communications while keeping their hands on their weapons, allowing for better combat readiness and shorter response times.
Specification
How Silynx Work - One Control Box, Every Radio
The Silynx ecosystem is modular by design. The headset, the control box, and the PTT accessories are separate components - connected by Quick Disconnect (QDC) for seamless swapping. When your mission demands change, you swap the accessory, not the entire system. This modular approach is the single biggest cost-and-logistics advantage Silynx delivers over fixed-cable competitor setups.
Frequently Asked Questions
Still looking for an answer?
What is the MWPTT?
The MWPTT (Micro Wireless Push-To-Talk) is a 5-gram wireless PTT button that pairs with any Silynx control box. It mounts on Picatinny rails - weapons, shields, vehicle dashboards - so you can transmit without reaching for your chest rig.
What's the difference between wired and wireless PTT?
Wired PTTs (U94, Finger/Palm PTT) connect directly to the control box via cable - no pairing needed, zero latency. Wireless PTTs (MWPTT) pair via Bluetooth and mount anywhere. Many operators use both: wired as primary and wireless as backup or weapon-mounted secondary.
Which PTT is best for covert operations?
The Keyfob PTT - it looks like a standard key fob and operates wirelessly. Completely concealed, no visible tactical hardware.
Does the U94 PTT work with non-Silynx headsets?
The Silynx PT21 U94 features standard NEXUS connectivity, making it compatible with a wide range of tactical headsets beyond the Silynx ecosystem. It can also be configured with a gas mask adaptor cable.
